Week 9: Overlapping & Following Through

Session Review

Resuming my progress with the session tasks, the principles of anticipation and timing was heavily reinforced in the mechanics of the Blake character sitting down on a chair and jumping on to a platform. Moreover, considering my past animations I am still only continuing to create strong key poses, compared to creating more in-between frames.

However, I am attempting to decide on what section of the character's body is the contact point and move each segment of that limb slowly to create a more natural form of motion. Furthermore, after breaking down the steps I personally perform in order to push myself of a chair I attempted to position Blake's arms accordingly (figure a).
